For those of you in the Puget Sound area. I am hosting the game at “The Bistro” in Allyn, WA. Will be giving away $300 in gifts. No purchase necessary, just show up and your name goes in the drawing. For every beverage purchased and food item ordered get additional tickets for drawings. A drawing will be held after every score. Mention the Red Sea Scrolls and I will buy your first drink. All welcome, we usually get a few ground pounders (Army) to make the game. It’s good fun and a chance to share the one thing we all have in common Our love for our branch. Bring you sh*t talking and GO NAVY BEAT army!
Well you Navy Supporters had your day yesterday. I just read your message, but I live on the other side of the Cascades so I don't think I would have made it. You are in Allyn. I have played golf a few times at Lakeland Village golf course. There use to be a golf pro there with the first name Randy (can't remember his last name) who was once an assistant at my parent's club in Federal Way so we would go down and play. Does it still have the huge trout in the creek on the course? One of my buddies had a girlfriend whose family owned a nice beach house down the hill from you near Twanoh State Park. It was too nice. Clamming, water skiing and they had their own tennis court with a hoop. It was the perfect weekend spot for several years. I really thought she was the one for him. Still give him a bad time for breaking up with her. This was all when I was younger back in the eighties and nineties. Your area was really nice back then, but I imagine it has grown up quite a bit since then. Still a great place I bet.

It is still very nice. Funny story the golf pro “Randy” His wife at the time was very close to my middle daughter. I was a single father at the time. And my daughter was a freshman. His wife was very helpful in getting my daughter on the high school cheerleader team. I will always be grateful for her assistance. They have since separated. The Bistro is in the old clubhouse in Lakeland Village. We had a great time yesterday. And we made several new friends.
