My only problem with your post was that in fact the Pelini's were some of Frank's problem that last year. Carl banging a player's wife and that in turn cost us a future NFL D lineman who was cousins with that current NU player was a problem. Then you had Bo's embarrassing chase of Tom's buddy Snyder off the field. Bo on the surface may have been an upgrade as a DC, but he was horribly deficient on the recruiting front. Frank really needed a guy who would recruit his *** off. Everybody forgets Pedie's tenure as Tom's recruiting coordinator and why Tom recommended him for the AD's job. Pedie's biggest beef with Frank probably was over recruiting then followed by this staff's personal issues.

Recruiting is what gets most Coaches canned and certainly was Franks biggest problem @ the end. Like they always say its not the kids you miss on that get you canned but the ones that you do get.

They were but Frank's own off field issues were going on way before those.

I was kind of glossing over Frank's own personal issues. He's a friend of a family member of mine and I like Frank. Dang how much turmoil could we have avoided if things had gone differently for him?

I know right, I was too as my sis in-law has been tight with Pam Solich since they were kids. Frank is a good coach and a company guy but there were reasons only Arny and Ohio offered a guy that won seventy some percent of his games @ the highest level. I imagine we would be still back to the place we griped about 10-3 right Dingle? Wow
