Physical teams like Kansas St. causes rhythm problems for shooters. That is why teams play physical a lot and trap a lot is because it causes chaos and disrupts the offensive flow. Bottom line is we only had 1 player that had been shooting somewhat consistent and that was Reeves. Once Kansas St. got into his head the game was over because we didn't have another offensive weapon. You can't blame it on Oscar he more than did his job and gave us at least 20 more possessions than Kansas St. had to score. We just didn't have the players to score. Been typical for several of Cal's teams as he values athletes who aren't usually good shooters and usually bad free throw shooters.

Imagine this. Oscar wants one more year of NIL. Cal says not here to him privately. Oscar got tight with Bacot last summer, remember Bacot came to Lexington. NIL at UNC is pretty good. UNC cupboard is bare, So Oscar goes to UNC to play and give them a 2-headed monster in the paint.

That team would get abused everywhere else on the floor.

Bacot is just as bad if not worse in guarding PNR as Oscar, and can't stay in front of anyone who has even an ounce of quickness.

Not to mention no rim-protection again.

They'd crush the glass obviously but when you're giving up layup after layup it's hard to rebound.
