Pope wasn't a first year HC, dog. He came here in year 9 or 10 of coaching.
Shades of UK/Ohio St in '11.
Arkansas built a lot like that UK team.
No. Fan gives a **** except troublemakersGood Lord, UK has become such an embarrassment all our fans can talk about is Cal and Arky
Arky SOS is 10th in Kenpom. UK is 6th. I'm not sure the argument that they played no one is going to land.
There are only a few people obsessing over calipari. You and about 5 others. The rest know he has to go. Pitino was completely different. Pitino is a great coach who has yet to have a downward spiral like cal did at UKLet’s be honest, if Mark Pope was a half decent coach, fans wouldn’t still be obsessing over Cal. I remember fans obsessing pretty hard over Pitino at UL when we had Tubby and BCG but many of us shut up once we had Calipari. Right now until we get past this mediocrity, Cal is going to be a big part of our mass manic episode.
Um, retard, I assumed you were talking about last season because we haven't even started play in this year's tournament. Also, what I quoted was you saying most consider last year to be a success and we only did one. No, we did both. We were a 3 seed and reached the Sweet 16, you fool.Um, princess, we are currently a 7 seed and haven't even made is past the first rd. So no, we aren't a 4 seed or in the sw16.

Brazille is a senior I believe. Knox probably declares. I can’t believe he came back. Arkansas must recruit them back with their administration. We know Calipari would never ask anyone to come back.He will get 3 of them back next year too, plus the Jordan Smith Jr kid to replace Acuff. Basically the same team again probably.
This arkansas teams trajectory is almost mirroring thst UK teams exactly.
Though I think Thomas and Acuff > Lamb and Knight. Richmond and Liggins are about equal. Though Liggins was a substantially better defender and Richmond the better scorer at this point. Liggins was also a facilitator when we needed him to be.
harrelson and jones i guess would be ewin and brazille and Kentucky has a huge edge there. That Kentucky team in general was way better defensively.
The two teams played differently. Kentucky really leaned on pick n roll with Harrelson and Knight during that run and putting Liggins on the opposing teams best guard.
Also i don’t know who Arkansas 6th man is. If it’s DJ, Junior Darius Miller > Junior DJ as well.
How is Arkansas built more like the 18 team? No, it mirrors the 2018 UK team
Lmao, did you even bother to read. The post I replied to said, ARKY IS BETTER THAN THIS UK TEAM.Um, retard, I assumed you were talking about last season because we haven't even started play in this year's tournament. Also, what I quoted was you saying most consider last year to be a success and we only did one. No, we did both. We were a 3 seed and reached the Sweet 16, you fool.
First year at UK, but not a first year HC. It was his 10th year as a HC.2024-25 wasn't his first year coaching at UK?
How is Arkansas built more like the 18 team?
Again, because you are retarded, look at what you wrote. You're wrong. Last season we were a 3 seed and we reached the Sweet 16. Come on man and do better. Are you high?
Fans all over this board and in general have been pounding their chests for UK to literally get a 4 seed and make a sw16.
Most consider last year a massive accomplishment, and we only did one of them.
First year at UK, but not a first year HC. It was his 10th year as a HC.
Last year was Kevin Youngs first year as a HC and he went to the same sw16. Cal was a "first year" hc at arky if we are applying that logic. He also in the Sw16.
That team finished the year 5-4. Injuries decimated that team. They wasn’t going anywhereI still remember the St. Peter's loss. That path to a Final Four was incredible. Cal will fail this year too.
I did, I wrote it after all. But it isn't referring to last year. We were talking about this year. Lulz. Good try, though.Again, because you are retarded, look at what you wrote. You're wrong. Last season we were a 3 seed and we reached the Sweet 16. Come on man and do better.
The point is you were incorrect in calling Pope a first year head coach when he was coaching in his 10th season. What’s your point?
if Cal had stayed at UK, we would’ve had different expectations last year than we did for first-year *UK* coach, Mark Pope. I wasn’t saying anything controversial there lol.
Second paragraph you're talking about last season. Quit with the circular arguments leadbellyThe point is you were incorrect in calling Pope a first year head coach when he was coaching in his 10th season.
Right, but that has nothing to do with the first paragraph you referenced. Which, if you read, you would have understood we were talking about SEC seeding, and UK wasn't a 4 seed last year nor this year in the SEC.Second paragraph you're talking about last season. Quit with the circular arguments leadbelly
There's a Sweet 16 in the SEC Tournament? No. I know what you're saying and you're wrong again, leadbellyRight, but that has nothing to do with the first paragraph you referenced. Which, if you read, you would have understood we were talking about SEC seeding, and UK wasn't a 4 seed last year nor this year in the SEC.
Jesus, dude. Try reading and comprehending. It'll really help you!
Lol no leadbelly. You were wrong. Take the LI know pooh bear, it's so hard for you! You keep working at it though, okay! You'll get there!

Not like Cal didn’t have numerous opportunities his last couple years here of having a bracket fall apart. He never was able to take advantage of it.
PAST his prime. The word you needed to use is P A S T. And yes Cal is way past his prime.2/3 if his losses in the first round came at Kentucky. It’s extremely rare for him to lose those games and he lost 2 at Kentucky and 3 overall for a 19-3 record. He was never passed his prime.
They beat Ole Miss and Oklahoma by a combined 6 points total, that's how they won the SEC in the first place, scraping by bottom half teams. They are getting rewarded for playing nobody.
