To borrow a phrase from Jack Cristil. Half their fans want to be in the Big12. All their fans still live in the SWC days and do not know much of anything about the SEC's history or tradition. They want to be rivals with anyone who will give them some attention (but nobody does). Nobody in the conference cares to travel half way across the south to see a game there. etc. etc.
