We made that Jefferson kid look good. Maybe he is.... but his first pass was under thrown. Our DB should have got his head around and made the pick. Anyway....

they should take take advantage of the RS rule and play Jefferson. They need a new defense though.

Uh, dude, we aren’t the next to worst team in the SEC, nor does Arkansas have better personnel than us. We aren’t good, but we are better than Vandy, and Kentucky, and probably SC and Ole Miss.

And someone asked if we actually feel sorry for these guys?

C'mon man!

I honestly think we are better than TN as well. Yes I know they beat us, but we really played a horrible game.

We are around 9th or 10th in the SEC

This is where I am. Ark sucks boar nutz. And the talent differential is non-existent. He alluded to the problem: Ark’s coaching is by far in 7th place in the west. If I’m an Ark fan, and I’m looking around at Moorhead and Fatt and Gustav, I’m angry.

Arkansas is abysmal but we do have some promising freshmen to build on for the next coach. Burks was all over the field and Jefferson looked the part. Granted it was only one drive, but he looks much more talented than Hicks or Starkel. The ability to run makes Morris’ offense 10 times better which is why I still don’t understand him bringing in two guys who can’t move at all to try and run the offense.

Chavis just needs to retire at this point. We do have a young defense but there’s no excuse for giving up that many yards to anyone.

Those "promising freshmen" still have a terrible coaching staff on hand, so there's that.

Speaking of Arkansas personnel, I got a great deal of enjoyment watching us go over the top to beat one of those late CB flips. I think it was Bishop, but whichever one it was I hope they enjoy their **** salad.

This is pretty typical talk from Hogs fans. They truly believe they have a more talented roster than we do, every year.

I lived in AR for 6 years from '84-'90. The problem with Ark is they have no in state rival, and the entire press scene is sold out for them. They are essentially the only game in town. Most of the people in the state have never even seen the campus (since it is way up in the NW corner of the state). Generally the hogs are only as good as their TX recruiting goes.

Most spot-on post about the Hogs you can get and right on all accounts. My dad lived there for 13 years, and I saw it first hand all too well.
