The problem is that the "foul every time" plan fizzles on the road, where visiting teams get a tighter whistle. That's why Arkansas always has such a lousy road record and generally flops in post-season tourneys.

I mean we have the 2nd best road record in the league in the last three years and have made the SEC tournament final twice. Anderson had a horrible road record early on but I think that's just because those teams weren't very good period. We have a win over a top 10 team this year away from home.

He learned it from Noalan Richardson's "40 minutes of [fouling] hell" defense. The idea is to foul so constantly that the ref's become calloused to the increased level of contact. By the end of the game, it almost looks like football out there. And, if all goes to Anderson's plan, Arkansas is the one playing football while they other guy is still playing basketball. Guess who wins that game?

Exactly right. Anderson often lacks the athletes to play that. It becomes an exercise in hack and slash. No wonder they come out in the bad end of fouls called.

Sounds like you're just hearing what you want to hear. He gives Kentucky and Cal plenty of credit in his post game interviews.

"Kentucky is a great team, we know that. Cal has probably one of his more talented teams here"

"Hats off to them. I thought (De’Aaron) Fox did a good job of controlling the game – and (Derek) Willis – the guy that keeps haunting us. Last year he haunted us at Bud Walton Arena, and tonight he haunted us as well."

"Kentucky is an outstanding team and they did what they needed to do. In the conference race, you’ve got to defend your home court and they did that.”

"That’s what I’m saying – people want to talk about Monk. (Bam) Adebeyo, what about him? (Isaiah) Briscoe, in the second half I thought he was better. Like I said, Willis, Monk is a big part of it, so you pay attention to him and that’s part of the strategy. I don’t think people understand that. You pick on him and then other guys might get off. I hope you guys cover basketball enough to understand that. From that standpoint, that’s kudos to Cal. He got a couple fouls early on in the second half and we had to find out where he was, but I thought it allowed a lot of other guys to get to the offensive boards, and I thought they were a lot tougher going down the stretch than our guys.”
Uh, no. Anderson is a turd. He’s classless and absolutely is a racist. Of course, he learned from the Grand Poobah of the Klan with a tan, that of course would be Nolan Richardson. That being said, he can’t stand UK or Cal.

I’ve watched his interactions with people frequently, and there’s an obvious conclusion. His team were absolutely trying to injure our players in the SEC tournament last season. He’s a very good coach, probably one the best in the SEC.

Kev, give me a break. If anyone ever wanted to intentionally injure another player on the basketball court, it could very easily be accomplished. The Arkansas Players were frustrated and overreacted with hard fouls for which they were properly penalized for.

I will ask you again, although I am sure that you won't answer it, because people like you just throw something out there without basis hoping that it will stick and go unchallenged. "What has Coach Anderson EVER done to deem him a racist?"

Arkansas had two good years in the 90's and that's all their fans hang on to. I have two really good friends that were male cheerleaders at Arkansas and both talk constantly about 94&95. They both despise UK, Cal, and our fans. I will give them credit for home games. Their fans are loud and loyal at every home game which makes it the toughest road game in the SEC. I wish Rupp would be 1/2 as loud. That place is crazy.

I dont despise UK, their players or fans, but as for Calipari and Barbee, that's a completely different story. Yes, the mid 90's were good, some of those Nolan Richardson, Rick Pitino games were unbelievable, but personally, I have long moved on and more than ready for another run.

On another note, but certainly not surprising, I am still waiting on a response from kev69.

Good luck today Cats!

Yep, and it couldn’t happen to a more deserving guy.
Still waiting on you to provide an example of how Coach Anderson is a rascist. It has flowed so easily multiple times off of your keyboard, but shockingly, you haven't responded yet.

Celtic, I think I remember your name from a long time ago. There are plenty of good and a few bad people in the state, just as there are in many others. Heck, we have the Clinton's and you have Ashley, so in that case, we both lose!

As much as I dislike Ashley Judd.......she couldn't hold a candle to the ******* Clintons....those are two of the crookedest people on the face of the planet. Up until now they have been in control. They controlled the narrative but that is no longer the case......probably going to be a bunch of crap come out about their pay for play foundation that made millions for them when they was in office. The Clinton's biggest mistake was getting greedy and trying to get her in the oval office. Should have disappeared into the Arkansas hills and lived off of their ill gotten gains!

Why don't you just go away....? You are not really welcome here. Going to another board after their team takes a screw job by the SEC officials is not really a good time to visit *** whipe.

First, I will come and go as I please, but thank you for the offer. Second of all, this thread has been active long before Kentucky lost to Tennessee, and yes, contrary to what many here ever want to believe, Kentucky losses aren't always the fault of the referees. Third, I will continue to call out BS about Coach Anderson, the Razorbacks, or anything else I see or read, anytime, anywhere.

I agree with you here, except that we don't want the Clintons in Arkansas, we want them in Prison. Have a good day.

Rotnei Clarke: Upon Pelphrey's firing, Clarke asked to be released from his scholarship. Initially, new head coach Mike Anderson convinced Clarke to stay.[18] After a few months, Clarke again asked for his release. "I have spent the last couple of months getting to know Coach Anderson, his staff and his system. And I still feel as though it's best for me to finish my career somewhere else," he explained.[18] Anderson initially refused, but relinquished a short while later.[18] "I just knew I was supposed to get out of there,"

Absolutely, Rotnei evaluated himself and determined that since he was a defensive liability, slow footed, fantastic spot up shooter, it would not equate to extensive playing time at Arkansas under Coach Anderson. In my opinion, it was simply a career move by Rotnei.

Obviously, none of that makes Coach Anderson a racist as kev69 has accused multiple times.
