@Arkansas, @TT, @Auburn the next three Saturdays. UK will be lucky to not go 0-3 in those games.[/quote]

Auburn is not a good team. Look at their non-con opponents. That’s the reason they were 15-0, 15-1 after last night. Barely slipped by a terrible Vandy at home, throttled by Bama. KY wins that game easily.

Should be a hell of a game. However the Hogs team doesn’t give up the Cats young players let off with the lead and it could very well bite them in that hole under the tail.

We have four including Johnny Poontang that can easily rival your four guard lineup
We spoke about this earlier and the week on another thread and I noticed that you never responded when you wanted to compare the three guards. I get it, you love your guards just like we love ours, but the statistics speak for themselves.

Well, it wasn't Kentucky's fault. They had to play the five in ________ and the three in black and white.

Edit: My bad - forgot to fill in that mad lib that me and my fellow Kentuckinarians use after every loss. That should read garnet.

This is going to be a tough game for us to win. I am fully expecting another close road loss, but I hope I am wrong.

Arkansas is good. They will be extra motivated after they blew the game at Rupp last year (when Joe went nuts from 3).

They are also going to present some of the same problems that have plagued us all year. 4-out, drive and kick, pick and roll type sets. If a good number of those inevitable 3's fall, we are not winning.

The one pathway to success I think we do have is that they don't help in the lane as much as other teams in our league do. Their 3 point defense is so good (#1 in the country) because they give no space on the shooters. If we can exploit that and get into the lane, that could create some easier than usual scoring opportunities.

This would be a good opportunity for our 3rd Quad 1 win, but I don't agree with the notion that it's a "must-win" game. We still have several opportunities for Q1 wins. Not only that, seeding in general, means little to nothing this season. Any team seeded 1-12 that gets hot at the right time has a chance to win it all IMO.

As a Razorback basketball fan for many years, I am very excited about having Kentucky at our house this Saturday. I think the game will be a good one and i can guarantee it will be the most raucous road game the Cats play in all year. ( and the Cats will make it the most raucous crowd in The Bud all year) Gonna be a good one!

Arkansas fans are excited about a potential return from “Basketball purgatory” with the arrival of Coach Muss. What he has done with this undersized, under-manned team has been nothing short of amazing. He is coach that prepares his team to the Nth degree for every opponent and DEVELOPS his players. We love that little guy!

And consider this.....I think having Arkansas return to its once lofty place in college basketball will be good for Kentucky and for the SEC. I look forward to us circling these games and working hard to beat each other’s brains out each year for a long time. For that to happen Arkansas has to up its game from what we have had in the past 20 years now. ( cant believe I had to write that and not exaggerate ! ) And I know we ARE upping our game as evidenced by what we have done so far this season. Coach Muss is showing That he can flat-out prepare a team and he is also bringing in a whole new level of talent to coach up in the next few classes. Talent like we haven’t seen at Arkansas since the Nolan Richardson days.

So GET READY Kentucky, we look forward to getting after you on Saturday. Win or lose, I think its gonna be the kick-off of a Hogs-Cats era like we had in the 90s. It’s gonna be fun!

Here’s to a great game. ( that the Hogs win)

GO HOGS GO! Beat Kentucky!

Do you not have your own message forum where you can muse in your delusion with one another? Cal is trying to win a title here and after losing at usc beating Arkansas on the road is imperative. Arkansas can get their good wins against auburn or LSU or Florida. There’s plenty of opportunities. For UK we must win Saturday to have a shot at our goals. You guys need to go shave each other’s backs and give Karl a call to bring you some biscuits and mustard. He and Doyle Hargreaves are the epitome of what it means to be Arkansanin or whatever you call yourselves.

Hahaha damn, I gotta say, I’m pretty impressed with the insults. I’m also relatively sure you’re a 45 year old man with massive little-man syndrome and a slight taste for child porn, but I might also be describing the entire state of Kentucky, so there’s that. And you think Cal is the only coach trying to win a title? Lol how’s that one title in 12 years treating you? We at least have the excuse of having had **** coaches and terrible recruiting classes, what’s your excuse?

Arkansas' 4-guard lineup is certainly bound to be more successful than any lineup of 4 guards Kentucky would put on the floor. Primarily because your team is designed, either intentionally or unintentionally, to play that way. Our team is not.

If you are referring to the sheer talent level of each team's backcourt, UK certainly gets the nod there.

IQ, Maxey and Hagans can all beat guys off the dribble. They better give space or suffer the damn consequences!

Hell UVA was the 1st one seed to ever lose to a 16 seed just 2 yrs ago and then they turnaround and win it all the next season with virtually the same players!

Will be interesting to see how Musselman adjusts if they do decide to keep the status quo and give no space. If they start giving some space, Nate, Quick, and Tyrese have to hit some shots.

I think the overall key is how we handle the road crowd and the attitude we show up with. I thought our guys handled Athens tremendously, but last night they appeared to be rattled at times.

I watch almost every game due to having a Kentucky wife for over 30 years, and you're right, but he does at least have a height advantage.

We are at your place, so that height is easily neutralized by excessively physical play that will no doubt go uncalled. That's not exclusive to Arkansas btw, just life in the SEC when the Big Blue comes to town.

UK fan asks if this is must win then the Arkansas contingent runs over here like a mob. Point proven to a T. Worst fans in all of sports.
It was titled Arkansas Game, and I have been here for almost 20 years and will come and go as I please. Thanks for adding so much insight to the discussion about the game though.

We’ve always had a few Arkansas posters here who seem like good people. Now all these other random jackasses are popping up.

They hide until they get their 1 shot every 10 years to be relevant. When they come out they do it in this disgusting way led by their inferiority complex.

Muss is as good a coach as any in the country. He will have the Razorbacks in the top 25 annually going forward.

I wish Arkansas and Kentucky could play a home n home.

This current group of hogs is hungry and very coachable.

We are also a 2nd half team and haven’t been out of any game all season.

Listen, all I'm saying is Coach Cal has rode the wave of momentum from that 2009 UK team gave when he had Derrick Rose and John Wall in the same back court. Since then he hasn't done much. His own son transferred from the program after last season. Might be time for a change.

Rose and Wall never played together. Not sure if you've heard of Anthony Davis, but that team he played on was pretty good.
