Arkansas and Illinois

[Boyd94]

Thiero getting the Jordan treatment.

[TortElvisII]

What channels?

If you want to watch IU you could just watch he Hindenburg explosion or the Titanic sinking.

[FirewithFire]

Arkansas's whole team is Thiero. Just call it Thiero U. They better hope he can stay healthy the way he throws himself around.

Thiero has looked awesome. He should have went to pitt or unc if he wasn't gonna come back here. (Maybe he wasn't allowed to come back, we won't ever know).

[Cat Ballou]

Man, Fland is going to be a good player I’m sure, but so glad he’s not our PG this year.

Wild drives into traffic - throwing up garbage long 2’s that he’s bricking. Just an awful game. But that’s what you get when you’re relying on over-rated freshmen playing Cal-ball.

[TortElvisII]

Cal is at the point that his ceiling is a sweet 16 and more than likely a round of 32 team.

[26MichaelUK]

Big Zs brother is really damn good.

[FirewithFire]

Jump dropped into Hogville to see how the piggies were handling the reality of Caliparism. It is surreal. Their game chat reads just like one of our game threads from last year.

[akaukswoosh]

Big Zs brother is really damn good.

Yep. Has two more three pointers than the entire Arkansas team.

[Allcats08]

Big z is trash. I’m so glad he left with cal.
It is unreal how cal has never been able to overcome guarding a ball screen.

[Bluesman_1950]

Yep. Has two more three pointers than the entire Arkansas team.

They may twins, but T is far better than Z.

[Kats23]

Illinois just running that high post screen at the top of the key over and over annd over and Arkansas just refuses to adjust to it. Where have I seen that before???

He's like a baby giraffe out there. Maybe he is just nervous playing against his bro.

Man, could you imagine having them both on one team? How did Cal manage to eff that one up?

[postmodernprimate]

I think he doesn’t care at this point. If he did he would have changed here.

It gets harder the older you (we) all get. That's one of the things that made Saban so incredible. And even he bowed out when he felt like he couldn't keep it up anymore. We all get crusty and stuck in our ways. I try desperately for what I feel is a young-ish 54 to stay current and always open to new things, ideas, music, culture, etc... but I fear we're all eventually doomed to be the old man railing at clouds on his front porch. Oh well, just getting to be old is a win.

[mhroe1984]

Arkansas definitely looks like they're built for March.

[BBNinSC_rivals62411]

Who knew Oweh was going to be so much better than Davis? Oh yea, Mark Pope did

[Cold Stout Beer]

Seeding doesn't matter.
I never watch tape.
Inbounds play schmindounds play.
We're the youngest team in the state.......

[bigbluefattycat]

Underwood looks like he has 3 dead bodies in the back of the Lincoln.

[Allcats08]

At least we got a few good years out of cal.
Arkansas didn’t even get one good game out of him lol

[ala_kat2]

Arkansas's whole team is Thiero. Just call it Thiero U. They better hope he can stay healthy the way he throws himself around.

I’m surprised, he is Arkanasas’ best player., at least this game. IL cannot keep him away from the rim.

[TortElvisII]

Wagner is way too passive to be a star.

[darkshadesofblue]

Theiro is a Warrior and the main one keeping them somewhat in it

[Allcats08]

Adou is a stud. Imagine him in pope’s system with all that space and that uptempo style.

[Boyd94]

Adou is a stud. Imagine him in pope’s system with all that space and that uptempo style.

I'm not really seeing it. He just barrels over everyone and shoots free throws.

[Basscat1987]

I think he doesn’t care at this point. If he did he would have changed here.

He’s said it many times in the last 8 months. He just wants to help 25-30 more families

[WallMash]

Adou is a stud. Imagine him in pope’s system with all that space and that uptempo style.

I think you don't understand Pope's systemn. There is no place in it for 6'7" athlete who can 't shoot from outside.

[26MichaelUK]

Damn

I'm not really seeing it. He just barrels over everyone and shoots free throws.

He's had a few slams that were nice.

[Lempface]

Richmond should start over Knox but we all know he won't.

Knox doesn’t start though?

[JonathanW_rivals]

I have to admit, Richmond is better than I thought, but can’t shoot as I thought.

[Cowtown Cat]

Gonzaga did it the entire game last season against us and not one adjustment was ever made. Maddening!

[postmodernprimate]

I know they moved it from the crazy short 19'9" but the NCAA 3 point line is still THREE FEET shorter than the pro line. It is coaching malpractice not to build around that.

[Lionel_Hutz]

Dagger 3 from Illinois

[mhroe1984]

Don't worry Hog fans, the greatest night in the program's history is coming next summer when you get a few players drafted in the 1st Round. Even after a 10-loss season.

[rick64]

I can't think of a single UK fan I know that isn't glad CCC is gone.

[26MichaelUK]

Literally every trip down the court bro.

[ciphercomplete_rivals115824]

Dagger 3 from Illinois

Nah, they delivered a coaching dagger at 20:00 in the first half.

[Bluesman_1950]

More likely, second round!

[TNCatfanforever]

Draft day is best day, we are a work in progress, we are young, but I like my team.

[Yardeth]

Cal coaching them up tonight, those adjustments were game changing.

[yoshukai]

Big Zs brother is really damn good.

I was surprised when they said he had always been the starter and big Z the backup their entire lives . Always assumed Big Z was the better player.
