I mean, some of these guys have to be being mislead. Only 8 or 9 guys tops are getting minutes. So guys 10 and under really need to be cigar guys, or are talented, yet somehow fine sitting on the bench. Something tells me there's a reason 4 guys from Arkansas have transfered, and we'll see the same thing happen a year from now.

At the end of the day, there's 200 game minutes to go around. Some of these guys aren't going to be happy.

If Calipari left UK today Muss would be on a very short list. 100%.

He’s kinda weird and short, but he would definitely get looked at. Have no idea why you think otherwise.

Because coaching at UK is not the same as coaching at Nevada or at Arky. Ask BCG. This job will eat up-and-comers for lunch.

I get why you like Muss...in his last two years, he has had 2 EE. You must be a member of the "short-sighted view" crew.

People somehow forget he was a good coach in the NBA too before he came back to college.

Do you not realize how ridiculous this sounds?

Im not a fan of 9 win season, NIT’s, Duke taking our coaches, and losing our *** in the SEC tournament. I’m also not in favor of losing routinely to Tennessee.

At this point he’d be an upgrade and you have zero evidence he wouldn’t be. You must be a cowboi.

I'm not a fan of those either. But, you have zero evidence that Muss would be a sure-fire homerun. At best, he is a roll of the dice. I prefer not to hand over the program to a roll of the dice.

Mark Few - I'm in. Jay Wright - I'm in. Flavor-of-the-month - I'm out.

You never have evidence of someone being a “sure fire home run”. He’s not a flavor of the month. He’s winning, kids are committing, he’s hungry. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t, but he’s definitely one we’re keeping an eye on.

And yes at this point he’s be a much better bet than the guy with a lifetime contract telling you he doesn’t care about winning and losing in embarrassing fashion.

That’s the cowboi crews go to. Anyone would be BCG. So KEEP COW!!!!

They’ve got nothing so they have to resort to nonsense. To type it and think to yourself “yea, that’s it!” Is amazing. Fanbois are the worst.
Play the lottery much? How often you win?

Keep your eye on him...he's perfect for Arky. Bring him here and scratch off the ticket. What will we get?

I prefer 2010-2015 results.

Coaches all come from somewhere. Calipari had a terrible NCAA trouble history, and a history of choking in big games. Did you want him?

Muss isn’t going anywhere. He’s already proven his worth that’s why kids are committing to him. He’s already beat your boy and went further going on 3 years. You want 2010-2015 results? They sure aren’t coming from Calipari.

Sure I’d take Few, but that’s likely not happening. You don’t keep Calipari because of that.

You keep making yourself look stupid and at this point I’d say man, just stop. None of your points make any sense. You should be able to recognize it.
I'll lay it out for you in simple terms.

Mussleman has never coached at a program with the demands of UK. He is not a sure-fire hire. He is a roll of the dice. I do not want a coach that is a roll of the dice.

I am not entrenched in Cal's favor. I would be in support of replacing him with a coach that has more of a history than two EE at a football school. Mark Few - sure. Jay Wright - sure. Flavor of the month - NO.

that's because ccc isn't recruiting, he is content with his band of misfits & Oscar
Again, mark another stupid post on the board for this clown. You **** on our players and team because you are not smart enough to just say, I hate Cal. Nope, you have to add a few more words and they are constantly 100% dead *** stupid. You will get the normal F troop to like your message but most on here think you are a joke.

I had much more confidence in the hire of Calipari than I did in the hire of BCG. I knew BCG was an alcoholic womanizer before he was hired. The B10 idiots I work around said as much while laughing. How he ever made it past Barnhardt is beyond me.

You may be right that we won't see 2010 -2015 results from Calipari again. I am not opposed to replacing him. I would prefer someone with pedigree...not a knee-jerk hire of Oats or Muss.

Certainly you don't fire a coach because of one putrid season to hire a flavor of the month.

You still don’t make sense. Calipari hasn’t won in a LONG time. And we’re approaching a near decade final four drought. Some of you need to wake up. This entire conversation is stupid. And Oats and Muss aren’t anywhere near the same. But keep seeing everything in a vacuum. And flavor of the month, as a saying, is old and wore out. It doesn’t apply to Muss.

Funny how some think this is a great get for Ark while Brooks numbers were similar against tougher competition and they're glad he's gone. We have a fickled bunch around here.

If this kid were recruited to Kentucky some people on this board would start 27 threads dog-cussing Calipari for it.
The Athletic has him as the #13 committed portal player.

The Scout: Council is one of the most athletic players in the country and an AAC coach called him the best NBA prospect in that league this past season. He can fly in an open court and finish above the rim. He’s also got some shiftiness to him and can get his own shot off the bounce. He’s a little wild sometimes and takes some questionable shots, but when he’s on, he can really score. He averaged 12.0 points in 26.6 minutes per game in a Wichita State offense that was a train wreck this season. He’s a capable shooter, but that’s where he needs the most work. His mechanics are not consistent and he has some really bad misses. But plenty of coaches are going to look past that because of everything he can do athletically. He can defend, guard multiple positions, rebound and slash. It’s hard to find a wing with his size and explosiveness, and that’s why a lot of heavy hitters are going to be coming after him. Put him in a stable environment and get him to play within a structure and he might just hit big-time. The challenge on his end will be playing a smarter game.

Most assume this means Williams is gone and the roster is set. If Williams stays, the word is one of the Mitchell twins could walk-on or a freshman may not make it to campus.

This is a really good player.

The later part of Musselman's career has played out similar to Calipari. Musselman spent time in the NBA and then returned to college. After making a name for himself in the collegiate ranks, a better college job came calling and he's hit the ground running. Much like Cal, Musselman has used his NBA ties/experience as a selling point.

Brooks stats for the year were good and will only be better this year
