I have been living in a desert community of 30 in southern Arizona for.a few weeks. The town of Casa Grande is about 10 miles away. About 50000 residents. Not locked down but Wal Marts and groceries still open for business. That may change soon. I was at a grocery store a week ago and the cashier gave me 30 percent off on a 100 dollar bill. Didn't ask for it. She just did it. I went to a Big O tire place today. The mechanic did 20 minutes of minor adjustments on my car. Would not take my money. I am told that this is just how they are out here. I know that my Jersey peeps are just as kind but sometimes we try to hide it. Time to let it show. Hope you are all well Rutgers fans..

Yeah, not to fracture the foundation of your new utopia, but AZ has more than its fair share of psychos. It's kinda the Florida of the west.

Somehow you have mistaken The Big O for a tire place. The product they supply is clearly defined in the name of the business. No wonder they didn't charge you. You should have ordered the Quickie Lube Job or the Spit Shine Sunny Special. I thought this stuff was only legal in Nevada.

Stayed at Vinlyhaven Island 10 miles off the coast of Maine once , all lobsterman and fishermen live there, everyone would say hello to me. Had to take my car on the ferry to get there , funny thing is everyone waves hello from there car also, I thought they were trying to tell me there was something wrong with my car so I pulled over to check , as I’m walking around my car someone else waves at me then I’ll figured it out. Beautiful and quiet place , inexpensive lobster .

I lived in Maine for the better part of a decade... Franklin county in the western mountains region. Had many good friends but on balance I always tell people Maine has the most unfriendly/cold/distant people I've encountered, especially if you seemed to be "from away.". Coastal Maine a little different obviously.

I believe the Phoenix area is second only to LA in number of breast implants.

Only know one girl from Phoenix, and she falls into both categories, bat sh-t crazy with implants.... sorry, no pictures.
