Indeed. In a game where she was visibly frustrated with her shooting, she was active in every other part of the game. I'm most impressed with the 11 assists to just 2 TOs.

I'm still amazed that she didn't have a broken nose, or jaw with all the drama that went on.

When it happened, all I thought was concussion protocol, recovery time, then face mask. But when she came out after halftime, I was stunned. What a tough kid!

Guirantes is a fifth-year senior who chose to return to the college game this season to finish her career on a high note. The Big Ten’s leading scorer last season is picking up where she left off and then some. Guirantes ranks in the nation’s Top 30 in points, assists, steals and blocks per game, and is averaging 22.5 PPG, 7.1 RPG, 5.4 APG, 3.1 SPG and 2.3 BPG in 2020-21 with a pair of 30-point performances.

Like me Arella is a NYer graduating from Rutgers(me...RU 1981)
and I couldn't be more proud !
she will have a great pro career !!!!!
