Our history is like anything you sell. If they aren't aware of our history, you make them aware of it, and you sell them on it. You're acting as if young kids aren't impressionable. Just talking to young kids in Nebraska's program, they are dopey kids that pay attention to what college coaches have to say. They can be sold a lot easier than people that have lived more of their lives.
Gebbia is a prime example this doesn't matter. He didn't care about the history or tradition or coaches or teammates. He wanted to play. When he didn't he bailed as fast as he could. This is a kid who was already here and established.
