Are the white helmets Joe’s idea?

[Turd Fergusondawg]

If so, does he not realize how white helmets piss off the fan base and evoke memories of the Croom years?

White helmets don't bother me and I doubt they bother the vast majority of fans. What bothers me are the gimicky uniforms that we are wont to trot out in ... black, etc. Just stick with traditional wear.

[croomin]

Clearly, they do not. And yes, it does. Just another element of the clown show this year.

[PBRME]

Team chooses the uniform.

[Bulldogg31]

We’ve looked very Penn Statey since JoMo has been here. Just like Croom made our maroon look more deep crimson.

[BlueRidgeMtns]

Find a real complaint. There are plenty to choose from.

[croomin]

Not a complaint. It’s just interesting that when we have really ****** teams, we also seem to fall in love with white helmets. Maybe because they resemble pillows.

[West Tn Dawg]

Anytime we play a team with Red or Maroon helmets we should wear white helmets. The contrast is good for the QB. Color has no effect on the outcome. Some People!

[Rupert Jenkins]

We only have this stupid discussion every game. Ridiculous. Maybe next week they will pick the green ones

[IBleedMaroonDawg]

He did that as a middle finger salute to the fans on SixPack.

[Philly Dawg]

If they look like pillows, we better go back to maroon helmets before we play Ole Miss.
