In my first post, I pointed out that we should also be concerned about school kids who were shot today, and not let our mourning of Charlie Kirk overshadow that event. In my second post, I literally just posted some quotes by Charlie Kirk.
This has led me to be called “sick“ and ”trash“ and all kinds of other names and now, a post calling for my banishment from the site. I‘ve said some pretty crazy and offensive stuff on this board over the years. Its odd that me saying hey, don’t forget about the kids that got shot and also here are some direct quotes from one of the people who got shot today Is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

I get it, but hatred only hurts you and not them. Instead, pray for these people. You never know when you might be the only person who cares enough to pray for them.

Unrelated to politics is my answer. Violence is perpetrated by all types.
In fact I suspect that over 99% of civilian violence is unrelated to politics. Avarice, jealousy, stubbornness, false pride, drug seeking, and revenge to name a few.
And of course the internet gets ahold of everything.

How does posting his direct quotes paint him in a bad light? The quotes are also extremely relevant to today’s events. 1) gun deaths are worth it and 2) we shouldn’t have empathy.

Seems like to censor dbjork and johnhugh would be antithetical to mr kirks freedom of speech first amendment platform and not what mr kirk would want to see happen . not everyone was a card carrying member of his fan club.
It has become clear that the right is using his death to demand everything from job terminations to doxxing in retaliation to anyone that says anything other than how great he was or that states they he was a grifter or just another hate speaker that wraps themselves in the flag and nationalistic Christianity.
