Appreciate Henderson

I know a lot of you will jump on me for this, but then, I could care less. Everybody associated with MSU should really appreciate Coach Henderson for the job he did this year, holding the team together and getting us a regional. Most of y'all didn't think it could be done. I know this because I remember reading a lot of your post. I'm just grateful he was on our staff and able to take over. Was he perfect? No
Did he make some questionable decisions, Yes. But the man has character and it showed with the team all year long. This team could have gone in the tank a long time ago. This team showed a lot of character as well. Starts at the top. Best of luck, Coach Henderson.

We have an opportunity to upgrade, there is no doubt. But, Henderson did a wonderful job with the hand he was delt. As time goes by the work he did will be appreciated fondly. I agree with oldman here.

I have nothing against Henderson. I wasn't on the bash train during the season. Of course, he made decisions that were head scratchers....every baseball coach does. But the last two days, especially yesterday, were simply some bad head coaching decisions.

I know he won't be but I would not be against him being the pitching coach but that would be too awkward for everyone concerned.

I've got nothing against Henderson, but the ad nauseum back and forth on this board about why/whether/how we should appreciate him is a bit much considering what our future holds. You could certainly argue Cohen and Mississippi State have done more for Henderson than he has for us. I've yet to hear a Kentucky fan beg him to return.
