The score doesn't reflect how good CH played last night. I was impressed with their players, they didn't give up when down by a few touchdown.
Appomattox scored with all the weapons last night. The fellow sitting beside me counted 9 different players putting points on the board. I would like to see the stats on that one.

Oh definitely the score did not reflect CH well at all. They are a much stronger team than the score leads you to believe. Appo was hitting on all 8 cylinders last night, there was no stopping them.
You know #4 is a DC's nightmare. Can block the fire out of ya and be a weapon to catch.

When Drew is on he is on it big time. I was very happy to see him shine last night in the light. Normally his contribution is very deep in the shadows and not really noticed.
I actually thought Drew was going to have one of the best seasons of his career on O, but I dont see them running the 1 VA DUMP (line up under snap with split backs and then fake the dive only to hide under center a second then pop up and throw to TE) like they did with Marquise Morgan at TE. That play was a great play. I think Deuce looked to Marquise a lot and threw to him throughout his career due to them being great friends.
I do remember that and it worked very well. Would not surprise me to see it pulled out the bag of tricks during playoffs. That onsides kick is the first time i have seen appo do that.
Special teams coach said their front line was just flying backwards before the kick so they made them pay.
