Since I am sure Advocate will visit at some point, I was dead wrong and Gap was over matched from jump street. I had picked Appo but was hoping for Gap to have a better showing. Certainly should be a fine game in Salem against the run heavy Clarke County Eagles.

Many teams could learn from Appomattox. They picked up yards all day throwing ball short. ie. slants, over the middle and out patterns. A team can pass without throwing 30-40 yards down field. Raiders put on an offensive clinic.

HR 6 will not be in Salem next week. I wish Appomattox best of luck and hope they win it all. I will go to Lynchburg and watch 3A and 4A games. There will be more passing in Lynchburg than Salem.

This coming from a guy that said "Appomattox didnt show him nothing" when we played Gretna? We had 450+ yard offense that game but we didnt show u nothing? Love the change of heart...

I posted a thread to recognize the sportsmanship of B. Gap. I dont know where it went to, must have got deleted. Anyways, I want to say that the sportsmanship of the players and fans was classy. They were joking around between plays, shaking hands, helping our players off ground, and congratulating them after a good play or tackle. Raiders was doing the same thing back. Great display of sportsmanship on the field. I said the same thing about Richlands players last week.

Advocate, the thread turned into a bashing thing for one of the posters from a different school so I asked Rod to address it. I apologize since the intent from you and most everyone else involved was sincere.

Oh no, this was from another game all together but I won't mention it because they were just trolling for reactions. I think all the teams that were involved over the weekend had respect for each other. There were others that wanted to stir the pot so to speak.
