I thought they were likely joining the mountain west? Which P4 conference is taking them?

Is it possible the 2 leftovers will invite the MWC to be part of the Pac 12??

I mean, could be but if the MWC rebrands to the p12 with WSU and OSU, are they really the P12 and a P5 conference? I would argue no. OSU and WSU are not enough to elevate every MWC school to P5 level. And the fact the OSU coach took the MSU job shows that everyone at OSU/WSU sees the writing on the wall
I do not know the rules but I think the NCAA is pretty much powerless to stop it if the Pac 12 wants to do it. Will it be a great conference? No. But it will be a P5 conference.
Right now it's all tied up in the courts. The last I heard Wazzu and the Beavers will still be the Pac 12 (2) for the next 2 years .

Meh. Maybe in name but we’ll all know it’s a farce. When their current contracts expire, so will their designation.
Despite the break up of the Pac 12 the Apple Cup will continue .

Next year's match-up will take place on September 14, 2024 at Lumen Field in Seattle, with the following four games alternating between the school's campuses: 2025 (Pullman), 2026 (Seattle), 2027 (Pullman) and 2028 (Seattle). Terms of the agreement are still being finalized."
