My Dad and I are long suffering fans - him since 1964 and me since the late 80’s. I love RU athletics so much I remember the last time we made the dance - and how Brent Dabbs boasted he was gonna dominate Ike Austin and the opposite happened. I get emotional because I can see what might happen this year and we are tired of the drought. That’s who I am. Glad for the win and considering coming up to MSG from SC for the Michigan game.

Wasn't too long ago we all were conditioned to expect a loss, so losing a lead, poor play and heading towards defeat was expected.
Wasn't pleasant, but part of being a RU MBB fan that could only hope that someday a bad run (like what happened today) wouldn't lead to a loss, because the RU players never give up, like this team plays.

I honestly do not understand the plethora of threads. It must be for attention... even negative attention is presumably better than simply contributing to an existing thread and possibly being ignored.

Man.... it took me until the start of Pikes first year to call RU Hoops MY team. But I’ve followed since the 90’s.
That being said, I feel your pain. Sometimes I too find myself in the mindset of so many long long RU fans when it comes to blowing opportunities and things like that.
