WKU is wing heavy for sure.

Hollingsworth, Anderson, Justice, Savage, and Williams all averaged double digits at D-1 schools last season.

Don't see Wright passing any of those guys on the depth chart.

The Tops look pretty good for next season. They are a pure PG away from winning C-USA and making some noise in the tourney.

Hopefully, Cook (Senior transfer from Lipscomb) is eligible to play. He is exactly what they are missing.

My Projected Starters

G Cook(6'0 TRAN SR)- transfer from Lipscomb.
G Hollingsworth(6'2 JR)
G Savage(6'5 SR)
G Anderson(6'6 JR)
F Bassey(6'11 SO)- 5-star.

Top Reserves

G Justice(6'3 GT SR)- transfer from IUPUI (also played at Vandy), starter minutes.
F Williams(6'5 RS JR)- transfer from NKU (double digit scorer for the Norse), starter minutes.
G Rawles(6'1 FR)- 4-star recruit, could start at PG if Cook can't play.

The Tops have some good size for a mid-major program with Bassey inside. Wings are big as well.

Scoring should not be a problem. Hollingsworth, Savage, and Anderson are returning starters who can fill it up from the wing. Bassey is a beast inside, especially at the mid-major level. Justice and Williams are starters anywhere else (mid-major).

If Cook is eligible, WKU is set for a big year.

Smith is transferring. So is Jr 6-7 Nelson. So is 6-8 soph Banton. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians at WKU. Anderson is their big time player and they bring in Eli Write that plays the same position.....why?

Depth ? You can never have too many point guards. Especially with some of the knuckleheads WKU recruits. Tops should be pretty damn good this year. Love having season tickets and being able to watch some pretty damn good basketball without traveling. BG is not Lexington or Louisville, but being to watch the Toppers in basketball and football, while also going to minor league baseball is really a plus living here.

Didn't hear about Smith transferring. That's a shame. I knew Banton had left.

Still plenty good enough to win C-USA and compete in the tourney if Cook gets to play.

What's with the commitment photo having WKU on the background and him in a St Johns uniform? Ugh, can't imagine UK announcing a player with another schools jersey in the picture.

I remember this one time, two 5-star dudes named John Wall and Eric Bledsoe both committed to the same school. They were both point guards. They worked it out. Of course, that was a unique situation.

Congrats Toppers. Maybe we can replace u6 with WKU as our instate rivals, I wouldn’t mind.

Four top 100 guys in their respective classes. Definitely a Top 30-40 caliber team.

I can see WKU beating UofL and Arkansas but losing to APSU and Indiana St. RS needs to make a tournament this year.
