Knew they wouldn't let UK jump 'em. But I'll take #8 for now. Fair.
Hold serve tomorrow and beat Auburn Saturday and we are right on schedule for a 2 seed IMO.
We all knew it was coming . But in most of the polls this year we have been 3-5 spots lower then where we should be . Now only 1. We all know SDSU isn' t as good as UK but they deserve still be ranked higher. Duke does not . If we loses to Texas A&M by 22 tomorrow we will drop 10-15 spots. And that isn't an exaggeration.
I think this ranking is fair. We have more losses than any of the teams 1-7. I'm still hoping for some of those to drop another game, and the Cats winning out.
Duke loses by 22 to a marginal NC State team and drops 1 spot....and I thought people on here said that they don't get special treatment and people need to stop with the conspiracy theories.

Not trying to start an argument, but honestly what about SDSU's resume makes a case for them to be ahead of us or even in the top 10?

Not defending Duke, but they were #6. #7 lost, #9 lost and #8 jumped them. They would have dropped further if teams behind them didn't lose.
Unless we win out, they're going to give us a 4. Any loss and we're going to drop multiple spots, and the narrative seems to be baked in that the SEC sucks and Evansville is an anchor on us.

If the Cats lose by 22 tomorrow night they should drop out of the poll and go to next four out
Gotta keep in line for Duke to be their 2 in the East.
I understand that to an extent but no matter how you slice it, let UK lose by 22 to a bubble team and see how far we drop
8th in the country but a 4 seed? My ***...not buying it, hope the committee doesn't either.
Michigan State has received the benefit of the doubt all season that they are talented and will put it together anytime despite all their losses. Meanwhile UK has been unable to shake the stigma that we aren't as talented as we usually are despite our bad losses being in November and December.
Yet if UK loses by 22 at Aggies we will fall a minimum of 6-7 spots.
Too bad Duke isn't held to the same standard.
They were undefeated. Everybody gets a pass for a ****** performance once this year apparently.
But they now have zero room for error. Still a ton of movement to be had as these teams will take on losses.

They should’ve had zero room before the L considering what conference they play in.
Frauds in durham and SDSU should have dropped further. NC State owned them from tip to buzzer. Not even a game. SDSU lost a .500 team at home. These pollsters are just hacks with agendas.
They have to prop up the frauds hopes of a 1 seed so they can't allow them to fall too far. SDSU is their fairy tale story this year so they want to keep that going.

UK is the highest ranked team with 5 losses. I will take it. Can’t really argue recent losses by teams ahead of us.

Just curious what your thoughts are on what would happen if the rolls were reversed and UK was #6, lost by 22 to an average opponent, teams 7 and 9 lost and Duke was #10. Where do you think UK would have dropped to and Duke moved up to? Based on past experiences I am betting they would have probably switch spots with Duke moving to at least 7th and UK dropping to 10th from getting drubbed by a marginal opponent.
We have lost 5 games by a total of 24 points and can't seem to be projected past a 3-4 seed. I would hate to see what they would do to us with a 22 point drubbing.
