Definitely true.

🔥 JUST IN: President Trump says AOC is trying to DUPE the public by pretending like she's no longer "woke" just so she can run for President in 2028

"The woke will become woke again as soon as they get elected."

"They are ALL doing the same thing. They're ALL trying to disavow themselves from what they've said about crime, and 'we love sanctuary cities'..

All the things they said, they are now trying to disavow. But the people KNOW they are woke."

Question, do you think the representative who graduated *** laude from Boston University with a double major (international relations and economics) is smarter or the people in this thread insulting her?
sometimes it's hard to say...First I don't think insulting anyone, even me, accomplishes much. You have to give AOC credit for what she has accomplished...she beat one of the highest ranking democrats in the house..she has positioned herself in a relatively short time as a potential Presidential candidate in a very short time, and personally, I think her "egg" show, really plays with women - makes her seem more real, more human.

She is politically astute - much more so that a lot of posters, IMO

Now on the other side, she does make some statements that seem to be incredibly "off base" to the point where you wonder about Boston College's academic prowess. I say that, only because I disagree with her ( but maybe that says something about my academic prowess or experience). Just the fact that she now disavows her first few years of positions on issues would give an indication that maybe she's starting to figure some things out...maybe. But, she's a politician so what she says might not necessarily be what she really thinks.

Personally, I don't agree with her "tax the rich or billionaires" approach to the economy because I don't know what she means by "rich" or what exactly she would propose and secondly because she wants to use the money to create or expand programs that carry long-term funding "tails". That strategy just creates more entitlements that we can't find now.

Long winded answer, sorry
