There is one in Charlotte now but it opened after I left Rare Hospitality and opened after Rare was acquired by Darden. I've never seen the movie

Cool. I have to say Longhorns is crap ever since Dave George left the concept as President a year or so after Darden purchased them. He is currently COO of Darden. Great operator and leader. The CEO of Darden, Gene Lee, is a piece of **** individual. But he knows the restaurant business. But I wouldn't piss on him even if he was on fire.
I have eaten at Longhorn here in roanoke, it was better several years ago then recently. Never seems to have enough kitchen staff to keep up with the orders. That's what an employee of mine said because her daughter worked as a waitress there. Orders were always slow in coming out. I know ours was the last two times. Probably won't go there again, here in Roanoke anyway
