I watched it and if that was going to help the stereotypes of the people of the state, it failed miserably.I generally like that show and thought last night's was good. Loved Tyler Childers getting some air time too.
I watch all of AB's shows and have always liked them. Last nights was interesting and gave us some understanding of life in post coal Appalachia....BUT overall was just the same ol WV bullsh*t. I doubt anyone in Seattle or Miami will think of WV in a more positive light.I generally like that show and thought last night's was good. Loved Tyler Childers getting some air time too.
Where have you been....In spite of our differences....hope you come back aboard.I watched it and if that was going to help the stereotypes of the people of the state, it failed miserably.
Hmmmm. That's a fair assessment I guess. Perhaps it would have been better if they made it more clear this was about the Southern WV Coalfields? Pretty sure they went there bc they were so overwhelmingly Trump.I watch all of AB's shows and have always liked them. Man you are grumps. I don't think that was the purpose of the show. Not sure that's the purpose of any of his shows.I watched it and if that was going to help the stereotypes of the people of the state, it failed miserably.
I'm not sure if it was even about Trump. I think it was more about folks in those parts wanting change and grasping for straws. You should remember that WV also fell for another wealthy NY guy.....the one that promised change and was our Gov. and Senator and now makes his home in NW D.C..Hmmmm. That's a fair assessment I guess. Perhaps it would have been better if they made it more clear this was about the Southern WV Coalfields? Pretty sure they went there bc they were so overwhelmingly Trump.
Wtf? Watch and listen again. He stated a ton of times during the show about perceptions of the state and its peopleMan you are grumps. I don't think that was the purpose of the show. Not sure that's the purpose of any of his shows.
And to think I was so high on your opinion.Where have you been....In spite of our differences....hope you come back aboard.
My brother texted me and said it had a segment on McDowell Co. I flipped over but all it had was somebody firing guns, blowing up pumpkins and eating burgers. Then had the segment on Las Vegas and Parkland shootings.Hmmmm. That's a fair assessment I guess. Perhaps it would have been better if they made it more clear this was about the Southern WV Coalfields? Pretty sure they went there bc they were so overwhelmingly Trump.
Gave the show a whole 5 minutes, eh?My brother texted me and said it had a segment on McDowell Co. I flipped over but all it had was somebody firing guns, blowing up pumpkins and eating burgers. Then had the segment on Las Vegas and Parkland shootings.
He is interesting and I have watched his shows for years and enjoyed them.....However.....I don't watch them as much as I did since he started getting more and more political. I never thought of him as a snob even though his current self-righteous remake is indeed interesting given his alcohol, drug and marital past.I always thought Bordain was a snob. I guess I jumped the gun on that characterization of him? Seems like he’s pretty popular. Maybe I’ll give him another go?
Trump's still a douche though

It had already been on for 40. I didn't know it was on. I saw some previews and thought it was about Harper's Ferry area.Gave the show a whole 5 minutes, eh?
