Possibly. Also Satterfield mixed in wildcat at SC last season so it’s not out of the question to see that, maybe that’s HH, who knows but when this team needs a #2 **passer** they will tap Purdy.

Disclaimer that we all apparently need to type:
I DONT HATE HH, NEBRAKSA, CORN OR KOOLAID. I AM NOT AND WILL NOT ROOT AGAINST HIM. THAT’S THE LITERAL EQUIVALENT OF PEOPLE CLAIMING YOU ARE ROOTING FOR PURDY TO FAIL BUT YOU DON’T SEE ANYONE DOING THAT BECAUSE THEY’RE ADULTS.
do you still think football is scripted?

will you post your live betting record this year?

Lmao what does that have to do with anything in this thread, let alone our current conversation?? I mean besides the fact that it’s a clear subject change deflection. Jesus 😆

since you are posting your opinion as fact, I think some insight into your thought process absolutely is pertinent

people should be able to judge your opinion within the overall context of how you think

here's what I read when I see your post:

guy who seriously thinks football is scripted also thinks purdy is our #2 QB

is that not fair?

Your totally unrelated claim is lacking 99% context. So at best it’s a cheap, pathetic and ineffective way to try to sway opinions your way. People have seen both QBs play. We aren’t pissing everyone off and derailing the thread for your childish ********. Let’s see how it plays out

it's not a claim, it's a statement of fact and absolutely should be weighed alongside any and all opinions you share.

you've posted many times over 2 full seasons that you believe football to be scripted.

do you no longer believe this?

No Whipple was the one that convinced Purdy.. Purdy and HH are Sophomores and Zane Flores is a red-shirt Freshman

SF should have been on Flores a minute after that state championship game..
HH is a 2021 recruit, Smothers and Purdy are a year older. They might occupy the same box on the scholarship chart, but that is because Chubba has a Covid year and HH does not.
Pretty sure Whipple had a lot of say in who they brought in for 2022. For him, Thompson was 1 and Chubba was 2, Smothers 3 and HH an afterthought.

thank you for your honesty.

all humans are biased toward their opinions being correct.

in this case, you've pitted your personal beliefs against HH's success. if he does well, you'll look like an absolute buffoon and will never, ever hear the end of it.

if he fails, you will pound your chest and celebrate your ability to recognize a lack of talent.

there is simply no other way. it's natural.

a sad corner to have painted yourself into if you ask me.
And he will HAPPILY admit he was wrong in that case.

I also think Purdy will be the #2.

In the latest video (I think inside #3) or something like that, there was a section of practice where Rhule calls up the first string offense, then tells all the seniors to leave, and there are like 3 guys remaining there.

He was trying to make a point to the backups that they have to be preparing for when their number is called.

He then asks for a lineman, a center, a receiver, and finally a qb.. and #12 takes that spot.

I know this was just a silly exercise, but it shows what the actual pecking order is.
