So sad and senseless. I can’t imagine any stakes worth someone like Derunnya having to lose their life.

Thinking back to that great run in 2014, obviously Dak gets a lot of credit and rightfully so, but Dak, Bear, and JRob was the Mississippi State versión of Bradshaw, Harris, and Swann. Perhaps Aikman, Emmit, and Irvin if you’re more of a Cowboys fan.

I’m sure someday we’ll have a reunion of that team and it saddens me to think Bear won’t be there.

Not sure what to say. It's awful, by all accounts seemed like a good dude. Puts it into perspective where a lot of these guys come from.

And yes, the MSU flag was particularly gut-wrenching, I have to admit.

I'm still convinced Bear coulda been converted into an NFL TE. He had phenomenal hands and was the best blocking WR I ever saw at MSU. 40 time totally destroyed the NFL dream though and that's a shame cause he was absolutely an NFL player in every other way.
