I'm guessing it's going to be about 6000 CMU fans and about 1200 NU fans. Less than 10,000 total.

That's a good guess. In a huge stadium.

If I go, I will probably get up at like 430 central and drive over. Flights are pretty expensive and not terribly convenient for game time.

Don't want to travel on Christmas Day (night)

Sounds about right. It’s a tough date right after Christmas and a cold weather/tier 3 bowl. With that being said, I hope our fans do rally! We were predicted to win 3 or 4 games and I think the board consensus preseason was a 6-6 season would “meet expectations” given our schedule was 23rd hardest preseason.

Are those of you that are going to the game from the Chicago area driving to Detroit?

I am contemplating going, but looking at plane ticket prices is making me o_O

Driving. Plane ticket prices are stupid.

Game tix are holding in the 45-60 range. Still hoping for a last minute collapse (I missed out at MN Wrigley).

I am driving from Chicago the morning of the 26th, leaving around 4:30-5am. This gets me to the NU event around 11am EST. Plan is to drive home post game but may get a hotel along the way.

I decided to go ahead and make the drive. Will get there the evening of the 25th, stay overnight, attend the game, and hit the road back to Chicago.

Any plans for a WR get-together?

The official NU event starts at 10:30am ET at Tin Roof right by the stadium. Should some of us posters meet up there?
I am "waitlisted" for that event. (NAA N-Zone Pep Rally) I assume they won't turn me away if I just show up.
I am also free to meet up for drinks with anyone available the night before.

I am getting to NU event at about 11:30. Tickets through NU in section 106. Bought through the school and paid $100 but at least good seats.
