Anyone get a feeling...

I would say it was less likely last year and the year before. Similar type negative feelings going into the game. It’s college basketball, of course there’s a world where we stick a baton up their butts.

What gives me some hope is that we have won in this series when it looked like we shouldn’t. But still 10-10 in the last 20 games I think.

These are the types of games Cal wins...in the regular season, anyway

If they play well like most teams do when they come to Rupp and we play like we’ve been playing I think we will lose … by a lot. Triple C makes it even harder for us to win. Triple C makes me sick to my stomach but I’m a UK fan so I hope we win. It would feel good to win this game.

I believe we win this one handily. This team is still very talented and due for a good game. I also believe Tennessee will flounder down the stretch. Big win for the good guys

That we boat race Tennessee on Saturday?
I do. Except for the covid year Cal's teams tend to punk at least two teams a year in-season that we maybe shouldn't be able to beat. (Obviously excepting the old dominant Cal teams who were strongly favored against everyone.)

We're about due and this is also kind of our last chance except for Auburn. I think Cal will gut it out, or set his ego aside long enough to get a seat-cooling win, or whatever it is he needs to do to get the win. There's also this thing where Cal and Rick Barnes have a functional coaching rivalry however they may feel about each other personally. Rick's mediocre teams can beat Cal's good teams more often than predicted, and that seems to work both ways.

I won't feel totally surprised if we lose. We have been laying a lot of eggs lately. But I have the same feeling you do. I will feel more surprised if we lose tomorrow than if we win. The Rupp crowd will definitely be rocking.

We are trending in the wrong direction. Any win tomorrow would be surprising

I feel this way, so apparently not "literally".

Must feel awkward to be wrong.
Not wrong. Easy to see a lie just to be contrary. We all know the truth.

Or I can rephrase it to literally no one with an ounce of intelligence…

Yes. Easy Vic tonight. They let one slip away with a missed ft and some other dumb plays. They’ll learn and grow. Big O continues showing he’s a force, Rob makes up for the missed ft and we win by 8.

I think we do. Tennessee is coming off that loss but so is UK and a tough week overall. I think the Cats come out focused and end Tennessee's night early. Then quickly struggle the next couple games again lol

I get that feeling but, then reality sinks in and I think we play close but get beat by a veteran and more physical team. I do get the feeling we drop to around 18th in the polls, I just hope that I’m wrong.

Yes, I think we kick their asses.

You are asking in the wrong place though.

Most of the posters here are CHC.

They want UK to lose.
So ignorant. This is not a chicken or the egg dilemma. CHC is a direct result of him losing and losing and losing. We want UK to win.

Jamal’s key points:

1. Zeigler is going to make life hell on Shep.
2. I don’t know who slows down Knecht without fouling.
3. Both coaches suck. So that’s a wash.
4. We normally would have the deeper bench but not with mysterious illnesses and injuries. That’s a wash.
5. Whoever Knecht is guarding should have a nice game. He is average to below average on D.
6. And finally, in our favor, Rupp can get loud and crazy for a big game. This qualifies

Vescovi is who I’m afraid of having a good game. For the last 7 years he has given us issues all the way back to when he played with Grant Williams
