future is still bright and 2 (3) appearances in as many years is nothing to sneeze at! i’ll miss geo and ron as much as anyone but let’s not give up on the program they helped build!
I'd like to believe that the future is bright. I really would.
But we only played five this season for the most part. And three of them probably won't be on next year's team.
I'm not seeing it.

It would be so much easier to fall asleep if there weren’t so many situations I keep thinking of where if one thing went the other way we probably win. Same **** as Houston last year. But once again, here we are. Fvcking brutal.

Sounds sick, but I have dreams after these type of games in sports. I will dream about the missed chances and have dreams we won and I am avoiding it lol.

Only honest saving grace, is that Houston hurt more last year for some reason so its mitigating the pain and despair.

Tough outcome. Love these guys. I know they are hurting. Good news is my heart rate should be ok for a while and it will soon be time to put the boat in the water and chase the white ball around. Thankful for everything these guys gave us.

Agreed. Heart rate leveling and chasing the white ball. Working on the boat. Cheers man.

This is what worries me. PM, Cliff and that bench profile as a 13-17 (6-14) type of team. But with minutes to be had, we’re a more attractive destination for higher end transfers. Go get em Pike.

I can't believe we actually went from "Why can't MY team ever compete in March Madness ?" for so many years to tonight's bummer of missed opportunities.
I'm gonna roll me another one.
Careful their senior, I mean sage, stoner. Cali is likely lurking. Sleep well Kbee.

Just staying up on this weeknight and drinking like I am?
Lot's and lots of Bunnahabhain in front of a very late night fire after an amazing early dinner with great wine with friends.

We have got to get over these humps and pull it out. One friend was quizzing me on the so-called "athletic deficit" tonight. Until we consistently beat ND, BC, and Cuse, in the revenue sports people won't support RU or get Rutgers importance to the state.

But Pike and this team have given Rutgers everything and made us respectable again

Upstream!

I just keep telling myself that this is what we asked for.
A chance, a shot, hope, to be part of the dance.

We aren't in shape for this lol. We've been out of shape for 30 years and then we get the cardiac kids - trying to kill us. 😉 We have to build up some stamina to be able to endure the heartache.

I believe that this was the 13th game this season decided by 3 points or less.

The thrill of victory or the agony of defeat - thirteen times.

This is what we asked for.

Sad to be one and done in this tourney. Had hopes of a run. Hoping for big steps next year, because I am concerned for what I know we are losing. Need some scorers. Most likely losing 2 clutch players & our defensive lock down player.

Still enjoyed the season of ups & downs.
