reminds me when i was in hs a kid showed up at another high school in wichita that was loaded with talent and he told everyone he threw in the mid 90’s and they all said, ‘uh, yeah right’. odd circumstances had him transfer out of the school before his jr? season and then transfer back his sr yr and sure enough he threw in the 90’s. he was the only one that ended up in the majors.
