With the Nike eybl grassroot division being called in for questioning, I can't help but be a little nervous. We have had several players, play on that circuit, including fox monk and bam last year. The bad thing is UK really didn't even have to funnel the money to the kids, Nike could have been giving it directly to them, without the school ever knowing, thus making them ineligible. Am I worrying about nothing? Someone talk some sense into me please.

How come all the people who never post decided to post today about how nervous they are?
Not really because all this mess is a direct result of teams trying to keep up with Ky and Duke whose name and coaches recruit themselves.
So I'm an idiot for wondering if one of our many many recruits might have taken money under the table from nike? If you think about it from an averages standpoint, the fact that we have so many more top tier recruits every year just increases the odds...
Sometimes it's not the coaches. There's big money going around shoe companies and agencies. You never know about these parents either.
Cal doesnt even have to be involved. What would stop a Nike rep from saying hey Malik, here's 25 grand, if you sign with a Nike school and sign with us in the nba.

oh poor UL fans......... all you have is the hope that someone will out UK and Cal......... poor little morons dont realize thats not what the FBI is after... they are after people like the ones they arrested and UL is only in trouble because they were the unlucky bastages who were on the phone while wiretapped asked for Adidas to pay money to a recruit.

There'd be no way Kentucky would know that. The NCAA isn't investigating, the FBI is. That isn't a crime committed by anyone involving Kentucky, and the FBI isn't worried about the eligibility of players.
Literally everyone who appears to be in trouble right now was on staff at a school and arranged money for players. If random shoe guy XYZ pays random player ABC, that has nothing to do with the school.
He's too busy praying the FBI is out to take us down to listen to logic and reason.
Its pretty obvious the FBI is looking for visual or audio recording proof before coming forward with evidence... The FBI doesnt work with just the word of a rat... they need hard evidence to bring it to trial and thats what we saw come out on Tuesday

My friends all looked at me like I was crazy when I threw my phone at the TV, breaking both after we lost to Wisconsin in the final 4. I was in the eruption zone the UK UNC game when Davis had the game winning block. Rushed the field the first time we beat Spurrier, under Joker phillips. I was in Rupp when the title team came home and drove the bus inside, and saw the banner go up. Just because Im a little worried we could get in trouble, and I don't spend all my free time posting on here like you do, doesn't mean I'm a troll

If that brings UK down, it likely brings every other Nike school down, including Duke. Nike people aren't going to pay players to go to UK and not pay players to go to Duke, UNC, etc.

Cal has been under a microscope here since April 1st 2009. Hes not go To risk his legacy on ANY player especially since he is on a platform like Kentucky. I would love to hear about kids that have tried to ask for money for a commitment just to see him laugh his *** off. Cal only gets looked at because of camby and rose which I don't think he knew nor did he want to know about either situation
