With the changes to the staff and the players being brought in I really don't expect to see this teams players, play calling and ability to execute at the level they need to until around the 5th game of the season.

Until then there will be quite a few moments where they'll both surprise everyone with their ability to execute well and also give everyone fits with their growing pains while everyone gells together.

Ultimately I believe it will result in a better product in execution and more wins than we've seen in awhile.

Jealous of what? Missouri vs Kansas. Kansas is *** and Missouri isn’t much better.

Well there was more to it than that. Texas taking over and threatening to leave to start their own exclusive Network leading to a possible implosion of the Big-12 was the reason. Nebraska getting more money going to the stable Big-10 was a bonus.

TBH the Big-8 was great, it was never the same in Big-12, and the Big-10 sucks. Unlike most teams in the old Big-8/Big-12, I’ll root against every team in the Big-10.

The best rivalry we ever had was against OU in the old Big-8.

I think you will see the complaining increase exponentially next month just because we won't get to enjoy much of this season. Our first three games are non-competitive. Then we play bottom feeders for a couple weeks. If those games are close then it doesn't bode well. Then we play the best team in the nation and a gauntlet of Oregon and OSU which will be half games at best. And then the two interesting games against Washington and Illinois where we can feel some sort of pride if we win, and then another loss to Iowa to end the season.

Right now it is just fun to watch certain teams lose and know we are going to likely be 5-0, even though we have the easiest schedule in the country.

Same, but the thing that sucks is their fans are so infantile. I like going to the state itself but I probably wouldn't go to the game there. I don't want my sh it vandalized. I'm too old to fight but too dumb not to.....

You shouldn't feel that way. The ONLY thing Nebraska fans have going for them is the opportunity to delude yourselves for the next 2-3 weeks
