at our recruits after the 2016 class?

So far, we have a 4* DB (Southlake Carroll) and a 4* QB (Lufkin) already in the class of 2017.

After the Bedlam game, we picked up an OLman out of Moore named Brey Walker, 6'6", 320 for the class of 2018. A real man-child. He's a fan of our 2 Frosh linemen - Brown and Samia.

Me likey what's happening with our recruiting.

Yes, looks pretty good. Winning solves many "problems". :)

Yep, also, liking this specimen in the 2016 class in Pernell Jefferson from Nawlins.
Big strapping cat...236 lb., 4.6- 40. Linebacker. 6' 2".

Depending on his skill set he could go right into the rotation as a freshman with that prototype size and quickness.
Awesome.

Count me pleased as well.

After last season, my real displeasure with the staff was solely in recruiting, and the perceived lack thereof. I am very happy with the state of recruiting this year, and the commitments they have garnered for future classes.

I was also terribly wrong on Tim Kish - our LBers this year have performed better than I, and almost everyone else, could have expected. The commitment from the 4 star LB out of New Orleans is very good and disproved my theory that Kish could not or was not recruiting. I was way wrong.

Kudos on your honesty. I'm STILL not a big fan of Alexander, especially in the middle. BUT, he's shown improvement for sure. The quality of our depth at LB is a sign of Kish's coaching.

I've been looking for dinner, but the wife seems planted in her recliner for the night
