Yessir. RIP is by far my favorite character. I was really disappointed in the show with Kaycie. However it’s spelled.
I thought the first two episodes were solid. I like it way better than Marshalls. It seems more like Yellowstone.
If Taylor Sheridan writes the script. You can count on it being good. Usually damn good.
Marshalls. That it. Yeah it’s kinda crap honestly. Agree about this being more Yellowstone.

This. 100. He’s a beast. You see he’s about to start writing movies I believe too? I love everything he does except for that show he released recently about the dad dying and they moved to Montana. About bored me to death and I only made it half way.
And usually very cheesy. Always say his shows are the worst shows I get addicted to. Mayor of Kingstown being the best and only one not cheesy.
Whoa.. I mean I dont know if he wrote these 100% but Sheridan basically got his start with Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River. All 3 are amazing movies and he did the screenplays. Wind River might be a book? Sicario is one of the best movies of that decade.
That's actually how I know him. Ive never seen his Yellowstone stuff but mainly because I dont have paramount.. but truthfully, they all kike of feel like TBS-style western dramas for country folk? So I never felt all that compelled to watch. Plus Kelly Reilly is an absolute dog-**** actor. Idk, maybe shes gotten better.
I do want to see Mayor of Kingstown and the one with Billy Bob looks good..

You really need to check out Yellowstone and my goodness bud, Mayor of Kingstown is a must. Try and get like a 7 day free trial or whatever and binge that ****. Amazing stuff.

I hear the shows are almost all amazing. I guess the promos for them just gave me a different vibe. Not a bad one or anything.
Wind River is amazing too, thats a pretty under-the-radar screenplay by him also stars Jeremy Renner.

Dude. Watch all the shows. Wind River was really good. If you liked that, got the same dude in Mayor lol.
Just the acting and dialogue, story line, etc. Most of Sheridan’s shows are just kinda goofy in my opinion. They are watchable, but nothing to take too seriously. Mayor of Kingstown is on another level though. It’s legit
You nailed it! You aren’t missing much by not watching Yellowstone. The acting is not good. Hell or High Water is one of the greatest movies in the last 30 years in my opinion. You would like Kingstown. His best tv show in my opinion.
I think Marshalls is terrible. Boring storylines and the Kaycee character is such a depressing sad sack all the time.
They can be, to put it lightly, extreme. If you have seen the mayor show, the feds would have swooped in season 1. Same for shows like sons of anarchy. Gotta suspend some belief I reckon.
So we can expect a b*tch *** power female to enter the scene soon I suppose? It's the one thing about Sheridan's scripts I can't stand. If he peppered it in now and then, that'd be fine. but every series is overtaken by some straight up b*tch of a lead chick.
And predictable. I do like his stuff, but we don't watch all of them (he has too many spinoffs from Yellowstone to be honest). But they are all literally identical to the last with a different plot. Landman is a great series, but I can predict what's going to happen in almost every scene like clockwork.
Dutton Ranch so far is really solid. Light years better than Marshalls. Marshalls just doesn't have the character or acter power to carry it.
Mobland is getting a new season too. However, I read today that Tom Hardy was fired from the cast. Can’t wait to get a new season of Tulsa King as well.
I watched ep3 last night and Sheridan was not credited as the writer of Dutton Ranch but TS is guiding the show with a staff of writers per Google. So maybe he is indeed writing it.
