Anybody been to Whistler skiing?

[goodknight]

My boys have expressed an interest in going.

I only ski'd it for a day but it was awesome. Definitely would recommend.

Went in early April 2 years ago. Great mountain for skiing. Don’t go late in season as it can rain sometimes. Snow is heavier than Colorado or Utah. Vancouver is a great city to visit too. I prefer Colorado, Utah, Montana, or Wyoming for North American skiing.

Beat ski trip I’ve ever had. The ski area is HUGE. Tons of lifts.

I've personally had enough of Whistler.

Do ziplining while you're up there

That was easily my favorite part of my Whistler/Blackcomb trip.

I went to inner British Columbia this past winter. Me and buddy drove from Colorado. There are some really great ski hills on the 'powder highway' and most are within a couple of hours drive after flying into Calgary. I couldn't believe how cheap everything was. $80 for decent hotel room and you could drive your right up to the ski hill. Fernie and Kickiing Horse were both really great mountains too. If you are looking for a Canadian ski trip I couldn't recommend the 'powder highway' enough. You also have Banff, Kimberly, Lake Louise, and Revelstoke. Main downside.....it can get really really cold that far north.

Bucket list to mtbike. Skiing, not much better than the Colorado resorts (Vail, Aspen, Breck, Beaver Creek, etc).

Been twice. Bigger - not better - than the good Colorado mountains. If you go consider either Vancouver or Victoria for an extra day or two. I loved Victoria.

Global warming has really done a number to our skiing this time of year, trail conditions are a little rough right now
