Any word on Self?

[fang]

Didn’t look good from what I saw.

Doesn’t seem to be much optimism he’ll pitch again.

Arm injury? I stopped watching before it happened.

[ZombieKissinger]

Lemonis said they’d probably check it out Monday, but he looked pretty upset about it

I also wasn't able to catch it live, but it sounds bad.

A tweet from Steve last night insinuated that Self's college career is done.

Unfortunately my guess is that was the end of his career. Really hate how things ended up going for him, he was really dang good as a freshman and then injuries just derailed everything. You can’t help but wonder if Cannizaro and Henderson ruined his career by using him so much as a true freshman.

My feed kept messing up last night and I missed it. Can someone say what happened?

Made a throw and it went WAY left of the plate, he ran to cover home then bent over with his arm hanging and was visibly upset walking off the field, camera showed straight to the locker room. I hurt for him.

It wasn't like an awful to watch type injury. Self knew something in his arm was wrong after throwing the pitch. Put his glove up to his face and walked off in disappointment. You can watch the replay on SEC+ and it was around 2:07 in the game.

[RocketDawg]

He was definitely in pain, but his arm seemed to be hanging right, if that means anything. Hopefully it's something he can and will recover some.
