Any word on Ed Morrow

Is his injury long term or will we see him back soon?

They have called it a stress reaction. Sounds like if he plays with any pain he risks a break.

A stress reaction is the precursor to a stress fracture. While at the stress-reactionstage, the bone structure is breaking down and becoming weaker, but does not actually contain any fracture. A stress fracture means the structure of the bone has been compromised by a crack or fracture.

I fear he's out at least a couple more weeks if not longer. And he was sorely missed in the two losses against Michigan and Ohio State. But that is Miles fault too.

Losing Ed Morrow is Losing 10 points... 10 Rebounds... 3 Blocks... and lot less points in the paint for opponents. How do you guys think Creighton is going to be without Mo Watson?

Mo Watson is not the best player on Creighton's roster, but he is what makes them tick. Ed Morrow is the same for Nebraska. He is the identity of our team, and he is out. Some people just don't see it, and always think firing a coach is the best way to go about things.

I don't know if I agree with that.... Do you think Patton is better? Patton may have more potential, but I would say Watson is best player on that team.

I do agree with the point of losing Morrow is a huge loss for this team that is already lacking big men.

I think most would argue that Foster and Patton have the best NBA potential

Best NBA potential and best player on the roster are two very different things.

Last season Armstrong was the best QB on the roster, but O'Brien had the best NFL potential. Cole Conrad was the best RT on the roster last year, but Farniok and Knevel both have better NFL potential.

Regardless, Ohio St is a team we should beat at home with or without Ed Morrow. That was a good matchup for us and we simply laid an egg. I expected a loss though as we are dismal at home and it's so like Nebrasketball to lose a game in that fashion.

Hey, let's jump into a thread that has no mention whatsoever of Tim Miles, and ***** about people bitching about Tim Miles. Then assuming we can prod someone from the Fire Miles camp into entering the thread and bitching about Tim Miles, we can ***** even louder about people bitching about Tim Miles.

So who you calling out here Chicolby, huskerbaseball13 or me? Your complaint lost me... Oh you want to ***** about all 3 of us, is that it? I guess that makes your bitching alright then right, because your bitching about the Bitchers that bitched first.

Sick

Sorry the irony is so great it made me puke

I would bet he is done for the year
Would not shock me. It sucks because when explosive jumpers hurt their feet it can really mess with them.

Plus, say the Huskers drop another 3 in a row, do you decide just to shut him down since there would not be a huge reason to bring him back this year?

I guess getting a medical RS won't work anymore.

As much as I enjoy watching Morrow play, there's not much point in rushing him back. Give the minutes to Tschimanga - many of which will be cringe-worthy, but it should pay dividends next year.

If we go something like 1-4 over the next five games hopefully they just shut him down. No use pushing it at that point. Get him all healed up and ready to go for a strong summer and the next two years.

Will posters like you allow that? They go 1-4 you guys will run Miles out of town... that will lead to players leaving the program. Ed may be one of them.

Allow what? And if we go 1-4 posters like you will be sure to let us know how Tim Miles is god's gift to basketball despite you know, his less than stellar record.

BTW, nothing that is posted on here will get Miles fired or save his job. Just an FYI.
