He warmed up with the 2s and was walking the sidelines, so I wonder if this was just an excuse to start the upperclassman or did Moorhead sit Shrader to give him two weeks to heal up? It certainly worked out and we may actually have two healthy QBs (that Moorhead will actually play) for an SEC game.

I too thought the team captain vote was bs till I saw Tommy tying OL shoes and Kylin Hill raving about him post game. Perhaps he is that likable that he swayed a team captain vote in only a few weeks.

After the game, I still have to wonder what would have happened if we had sat Tommy after his injury for a couple of games and actually let him get healthy. He looked like a completely different QB than we he tried to play banged up.

Just another reason why our QB situation should have been handled differently and maybe we would have had another option to step in for Stevens and beaten Tenn and maybe played a little better in some of those shitfests.

I have heard from reliable sources that he may or may not have one of the following:

Mad Cow Disease
Ebola
Spontaneous Dental Hydroplosion
Leprosy
Flesh-Eating Bacteria
Hot Dog Fingers
Anal Fissures
Govt Created Nanorobot Infection
Inverted Penis
Count Choculitis

None of which, by the way, will be covered by the new university health plan.

He’s hurt and Stevens is finally healthy. Stevens is far and away the better passer anyway.

re watch the game. The side line reporter said it was a sore elbow issue. How serious she did not say.

We might would have beaten Kansas State and Tennessee (probably win one of the two), and Auburn wouldn't have beaten us QUITE as bad, simply because the offense would have had the ball longer (would have looked more like Texas A&M game).

So, at the end of the day, the Stevens injury cost us a game. The bad management of the situation cost us another, plus some embarrassment.
