Haven't heard anything new the past few weeks.
Anyone heard of any updates?

He tore his ACL in December 2018 and broke his collarbone in April 2019.
It's kind of odd how quiet is has been. On Oct 1 Cal said he was about a month away from being fully cleared.

Dopey. We might as well face it, he's not going to play this year, and we will more than likely never see him suit up for us. There is not enough "there" for Cal to play him. Every player we've ever had that is in that same mold (Mulder, Baker) has not gotten the chance they deserve. Hawkins and Willis were lucky to see the floor as much as they did. There is not enough "star" value for Cal to give him a realistic shot.
Dec. 22 tweeted about edging closer to playing. I expect him to get some PT this month but 3 of the next 4 are on the road.Last update I read was a few weeks back and he'd started practicing with the team.
I'm just thinking if he isn't playing in the next couple of weeks a redshirt will seem highly likely.
I want him to play and think that he can really help us, but history has shown that he will not be given an equal opportunity.Dopey.
Lol. Dude relax , Allen isn't going anywhere. Also Mulder & Baker had plenty of opportunities to shine here, I remember hoping Mulder could've helped us in the NCAAT but nope he just kept shooting bricks. Baker was injured for like 1.5 years and when he did get in he didn't give us much. Can't give one dimensional players who aren't producing results in their specialty area big minutes over waaaaay better players. We might as well face it, he's not going to play this year, and we will more than likely never see him suit up for us. I hope you are right. But his situation seems an awful lot like Baker and we see how that worked out. BTW, Baker is playing really well now that he is not having to worry about getting yanked because he missed a shot.Lol. Dude relax , Allen isn't going anywhere. I think Allen is better then both those guys and will play a ton when he's healthy next year.

Baker is from California and wanted closer to home, where as Allen is from Kentucky. How many players from the state of Kentucky have left UK since Cal has been here? I can't think of any and that includes recruits, walk ons and Gillespie holdovers (Jon Hood/ Polson).I hope you are right. Well either this makes 0 sense or it is so intelligent that I am unable t discern what you are saying. Cal recruited him and he has been injured and not played 1 second! We might as well face it, he's not going to play this year, and we will more than likely never see him suit up for us. Historically he has never played. If you are implying he will never play bc he was a 4* recruit, see Tyler Herro, SGA, etcI want him to play and think that he can really help us, but history has shown that he will not be given an equal opportunity.
If I am reading your post right, you are way , way off. If Allen is actually as good as you think, he will play. Cal will play the player that will help the team the most. He is hurt right now and he comes close to the minutes that super 5 star Whitney is getting so your theory is wrong. We might as well face it, he's not going to play this year, and we will more than likely never see him suit up for us. How many practices have you been too? Seems like you know more than our coach who should playWe might as well face it, he's not going to play this year, and we will more than likely never see him suit up for us. I think the knee is 100% at this point and he probably has been cleared to play.
The toughest part is getting over the mental hurdle of going full speed after he is cleared...that usually takes a little more time and is different for everyone.
He would be more serviceable here than Juzang. That is the problem. We don't have role players that want to stick around and develop. NR did this year and it's helped him immensely.UMMMMM No
Bakers is playing 18.6 minutes a game and his stat line is this
6.8 pts
2.7 assists
2.0 rebounds
39.8% overall from the field
14/32 from 3pt is his only bright spot, but mostly only from 3 games early in season where he went 3/3 2/3 and 4/6. In the other 11 games he is 5/20.
Guess you consider that playing really well?
Tyrese Maxey who some "fans" say shoots awful etc is 42% from the field, Hagans is 46%, Quickley at 40%, Brooks 44% and even Whitney is at 40% shooting. What we have is an upgrade from Baker, any way you want to slice it. He did the right thing in leaving, he doesn't perform at a high enough level to get significant minutes here. He is a serviceable 7-8 man in rotation even at Arizona.
Juzang gets 10 minutes a game, Baker got 9.1 last year here. He didn’t want that so left. Those meager stats he is putting up at Arizona is a 21 year old Baker, Juzang is still only 18. Much much more upside. Baker is what he will always be. Even Arizona sees that, why can’t you?He would be more serviceable here than Juzang. That is the problem. We don't have role players that want to stick around and develop. NR did this year and it's helped him immensely.
Lol. The thing about the internet is its sometimes hard to tell when someone is being sarcastic or facetious, especially with all the psychos running around this forum. Im sure you're joking... Right? Right??He's taking 2 years off basketball, if he doesn't play this year.
No thanks, I want players that stay in shape and play
