Won't be out until Friday morning most likely. Actually, there might not even be one (games with NEC teams frequently don't get lines).

KenPom has Rutgers -10. Bart Torvik has Rutgers -14. So your -12 seems like it might be spot on.

Last year versus FDU, biggest contributions: Corey Sanders and Geo Baker scored 19, Mike Williams 17, Issa Thiam had 9 rebounds, DeShawn Freeman and Corey Sanders 5 rebounds. Sanders, Freeman, and Williams are gone.

Line? We don’t need no stinkin’ line! Fairly Ridiculous is thinking the same thing - no Corey no Deshawn... there goes the margin of victory from last year....

They will be mistaken. Sadly mistaken.

I hope we blow them out but this is a completely different team. I think we will be a better team but this is the first game for many and always jitters and getting used to playing at a different speed. I think it would be so difficult to figure out a point spread. Just hoping we win convincingly? We need every win we can get in OOC play.

If you want to nitpick....We held them to 54 points on 74 possessions. They were 19-59 from the field. We forced them in to 15 turnovers and killed them on the glass. Yes we had our best UNADJUSTED offensive game of the season. However this game was about what we did on the defensive end. We were up 50-22 at the half.

If I have this right (and it is a guess) this season will be about trying to find the unit that gets the most offense possible given an acceptable amount of defense. That acceptable amount of defense will be a few levels lower that what we saw last year. How much rope get given to the newcomers on the defensive end will certainly be worth watching.

I'm actually a little concerned about this one with FDU picked to finish high in their conference and us trying to incorporate a bunch of new players into our system. Yes, a B1G team should win this game, but we have had our share of WTFs in recent years.
