11am is the best time for an Iowa advantage. Would be 9am for Oregon body clocks. I know this was a decade ago, but in 2015 Stanford rolled into Evanston for an 11am kick and got beat. The same Stanford team that rolled us in the Rose Bowl against the same NW team that we rolled in Evanston. Point being, West Coast teams perform pretty poorly historically in 11am CT games.
Would be even better if it was cold, blustery, and maybe an early season snow.

Sure it rains in Oregon. But “cold”, rainy and windy in Eugene doesn’t feel the same as cold, rainy, and windy in Iowa City.
It's not that different. Oregon plays in uncomfortable conditions as often as Iowa does.
The game time thing is also a bit overblown. Some coaches will tell you having the team wait around all day is worse than playing early. Wouldn't be surprised if Oregon practices first thing in the morning to prep for trips East.
So I have a question for you. Have you spent a lot of time out in Oregon in November standing in a cold windy rain? I'm just wondering how you became an expert on the difference between cold rainy days in Oregon and cold rainy days in Iowa. It seems to me like a rainy and windy 45 degree day feels pretty much the same wherever you are.
It’s the UCLA & USC beach boys that might be uncomfortably affected by a November game in Madison, Evanston, Minneapolis, Lansing, IC, Ann Arbor …. Washington and Oregon not so much. The temperature difference can be substantial.
In my opinion, it’s the higher sustained winds and gusts that tend to disrupt and disorient coastal visitors to the Midwest, especially if its a cool temp day.

I have been in both, yes. Iowa has felt colder to me. It seems more “bitey” in Iowa. You may feel different and that’s fine. No need to get argumentative about it. It’s not really worth getting worked up about.
It’s ok to disagree without jumping all over the other person.
By the way….there is no “wrong” or “right” about this.
The white out is a lot of noise in the distance. Kinnick is a lot of noise with individual fans telling an opposing player how awful they are. And that player hearing it. I like our home field advantage more than pretty much anyone’s. Although it gets nasty at times. One of Penn State’s assistants was jawing heatedly most of the game with the group of Iowa fans just in front of me and to my left. They were yelling some really inappropriate things.
Yes this is true. My god, I can't imagine what things drunk rural Iowans are yelling and Penn St coaches. Yikes.
It gets pretty nasty. Usually the same group. Lots of alcohol and total disrespect. And the thing is, that coach was huge. He could have had his way with that entire group had it come to that. Whenever I see fans on here talking about how bad opposing fans are at some other school, I won’t even comment given the things I’ve seen inside of Kinnick.
