Something needs to be done everyone knows the clown is staying he needs to shake up his coaching staff and change his coaching philosophy. If he doesn't do anything it will get real ugly for him going forward he will really hate the BBN but not as much as we will hate him!

I have very little expectation that any significant coaching staff changes would happen. I would love to get Coach O back on staff. I think that would be the single most impactful change we could get this offseason.

The reason many top 5 recruits chose UK in Cal’s early years has been effectively neutered.

I read this earlier on SBNation and it gave me a glimmer of hope. I am probably the #1 advocate for Coach O coming back to UK. Only because we all know how recruiting was ROLLING when Antigua was here. Plus, I just can't see UK ever winning another championship with Calipari as H/C without Coach O being on the bench. Not going to get my hopes up but, I will say that if you want Antigua back, you had better hope Illinois gets bounced out of the tournament early. The deeper into March they play the more attention Antigua will get from programs looking for a new H/C.

Getting Antigua back would be huge. I would also hope Cal looks at Mike Miller if there are 2 spots open. You'd get another good recruiter, player coach and a respected NBA vet.

Plus, how much longer is Cal going to be HC? 3 years? 4? Maybe an offer to be an assistant coach at Kentucky looks more attractive the older Cal gets as I'm sure Cal will have a role in who will replace him...
When Cal got booted in the Miss State game, it seems to me, we won. The coaches on the bench allowed Allen to play most of the time after Cal got his second technical. So whose fault is it we are getting bad coaching? Cal or the assistants. Coaches are always looking for a fall guy, when the system isn't working. **** rolls downhill, but it starts at the TOP!
I have my doubts about how good a coach is, when it takes him 22 or 23 games to see the Point Guard he has, is not capable of running the team at this level. Most of the UK fans, after two or three games, noticed that Askew did not have the talent to be the point guard. To slow, no quick first step, poor ball handler, and could not see the floor good enough. Why couldn't Cal see that. I'm sure that some of the other coaches saw that, but Cal is so arrogant, that he doesn't listen to anyone. If so, Allen would have played more. He only got his real chance when Cal was ejected in the Miss. State game, but that changed the next game. Boston could play like ****, but Cal would not pull him. He treated Allen different from other players.

I think Robic is considered to have a very good basketball mind. But the hell he's been through the last few years and the tragedy of losing his young daughter would be enough to destroy any man. I have wondered sometimes whether he might be a shell of the basketball junkie he once was.
