That would be a nice place to start. Seems when Antigua left that is when things started to go down the *******. If nothing else, I am least confident he knows how to evaluate talent. And he can flat out recruit. Antigua and Jai Lucas together would kill it out on the trail.

uK was recruiting at insane level when he was here and tapered off after he left. Could be other factors but he was solid IMO

Yes, letting Robic go makes no difference. He's a member of the support staff as a special assistant to the Head Coach. This is not an assistant coaching position therefore is not preventing any candidate from getting a job in that role. He's not been an assistant coach for a number of years now.
Robic isn't hurting anyone in the role he is employed in as he is not in one of the assistant coaching slots. People going after him are going after the wrong guy.
Nope, but I have a buddy who is an insider Illini guy. He loves it there, they love him, he is making a name for himself (again) away from Cal. He'll have another chance at a HC job really soon. I don't think he leaves that to come back to UK.
I'd love for him to return, I just don't see it happening.
At the end of the day, it's Kentucky and Illinois. If Cal offered him a chance to come back to Lexington, I think he takes it. However, not sure that offer is coming if it hasn't yet.
