Sooooo what did he do in 23? I get wanting an experienced WR but we’ve not done well with oft injured transfers.
played 1 play last year and made a 14 yard catch.

started his career at Wyoming. played '20-'21 seasons there before transferring to UT and registering only that 14 yard catch in 2 years.

44 catches in Laramie in 2021.

I don't even get it. The guy redshirted in 2019. Played 2020 and 2021 at Wyoming. Had a pretty good 2021 - 44 catches. Transfers to UT. Gets hurt. Sits out 2022. Caught 1 pass in 2023.

Take him as a 2nd portal receiver but I'm not counting on him as your only portal wr if you only take 1.

Originally from Texas so someone on our staff probably scouted him for a while.

NIL walk on player would be fine. I don’t see how you put him on scholarship.

NIL deal in lieu of scholarship for a kid like this?

If Nebraska gets the 2021 version then they're in good shape. It is risky of course but he's fully two years removed from the injury and was likely just buried in an NFL level WR room.

I changed my mind. Assuming he's healthy, take this guy. Looking forward to having a qb who can make throws like those. So limited with our passing game with these running qbs.

Got a chance to watch his film and color me impressed. He's not a take-the-top-off-the-defense Trey Palmer, but he definitely has Palmer's go-up for the ball and his hands.

Also impressed with Wyo's QB. Has a nice spiral and top release.
