Yes but the video was before he tried to practice on it. I mean he was fine walking, but we do not know how the ankle felt after he did running and cutting. Can he not get the benefit of the doubt ? Especially after several fans made up all the crap about protecting his draft status, blah, blah, blah. Hell they even Dm'd him and messaged him personally. It is borderline psychotic. It definitely makes the whole fan base look crazy and selfish.

I think you're mixing issues. No one is going to fault PJ if he can't play.(well 99% of the fanbase anyways) The fault is, if it turns out he can't play, prematurely sending out a video to the entire fan base implying he will play.

and if you hear PJ say it, it wasn't his idea which I believe, so the staff or someone pushed him to do it.

No, my point was the video was posted BEFORE he tested the ankle. When he posted that video, he never said he was playing, it just showed the cast was off and he was able to walk on it with no signs of a limp ( i took the video as him showing that he indeed has made progress and was getting better) And i am sure that was his also, to show fans he was not just mailing it in for the tournament. Fans gave him a rough time saying he wasnt trying to come back. Now when he tested it and the pain and swelling returned , i do not see how anyone can be faulted. Now if the video was posted after he had practiced on it and had no problems, then i could see a issue. They have said all along, before and after the video was shown, that he would test by running, cutting and jumping. If he had no set backs, he would play. Not like they posted the video and said "I am back, and 100%, i am going to play." That was never the case.
