D'angelo cherry broke an american junior indoor record in the 60m. 6.52 seconds. What do you reckon that would translate to in a 40?

However, the fastest part of the run is the last 30 meters, so he could probably run a 40 in 4.3 or so. Still pretty damn fast.

He has so much upside it is ridiculous. Congrats to Steve Dudley, Mississippi State's most under appreciated coach. A great guy and a great coach.

It is true that the fastest part of the race is the final half but if he was running a 40 YARD dash and knew where he had to explode and hit his stride I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't throw a 4.2 out there.

I know Track and Field doesn't get a lot of play around here (I mean why should it), but Coach Dudley is a great coach and recruiter. Also, how many of our coaches can say they have coached a team to a national championship (his was JUCO at Bevill State).

he was a hell of a coach at Bevill. My sister ran long distance for him at Bevill. His men's team won college track meets hosted by Alabama and Mississippi State back in the day. Guess Al said if you can't beat them, hire them.
