I agree to a certain extent. If he for some reason won 8 games after losing to Illinois, this season would be a success and would mean we finally figured some things out, but that is not happening and so yeah, he should be shitcanned.

Would it matter which teams he beats to get to 6 victories? Did he or the AD schedule Fordham because that would be a guarantee victory? Buffalo should be an automatic win also. That would leave only 4 victories needed to save his job.

Let’s be honest- does it really matter if we qualify for a bowl this year? We’ll just turn it down anyway.

Yeah yeah I know. Frost sucks and the team can't/won't win more than 3 or 4 games this year. Fire him now or worst case at the end of the year and start the search for a quality replacement.

Just for yucks, what if the team rallies around their coach and goes on to win 6 games and get a bowl invite. Is that enough to warrant another season or no? What's the magic number to keep him on board?

Well we'll always wait until the end of the season unless he does something else bad besides losing games.
