No. 1 Duke loses to Stephen F. Austin at the buzzer in OT. First nonconference home loss for Duke in 19 years. NINETEEN!

It’s aided by our return to being good again, but I’m super intrigued by this college basketball season. Could be a lot of fun.

I'm old and getting older, but this one shocked me.

Others can assess it later, but this seems like a once in a decade kind of upset.

This is why I love college basketball. No. 222 beats No. 1. Has anything remotely like that ever happened in college football?

I remember an SEC team in overtime...

...only needing to stop their opponent from converting 4th and 25 to secure their first ever trip to Atlanta. Then something wonderful happened.

I just watched the end. Duke deserved to lose on that last possession. They did everything wrong. Just standing around.

If you haven't seen the Dayton Flyers yet this season, and aren't at work when the game starts, they are playing No. 4 Kansas in the Maui Invitational. I believe the game is at 3 central. Dayton has stomped Georgia and Virginia Tech so far in that tourney.

Dayton is always good it seems. Didn't we play them once?

We beat them at the Hump last season, but they look vastly improved this year. It is early in the season but so far their forward Obadiah Toppin looks like an early first-round draft pick.

Some poor SOB had Duke with the moneyline. Never guessing in a million years he would wake up owing the bookie 30 grand for that $100 sure thing

Idk if SFA has the same coach but when we played them they were scrappy as hell back then and gave us a scare for sure. Tough team.

You're right - it's a good game and the outcome is still very much in doubt. Kansas is up by 1 with 9 minutes remaining.

That isn’t how money line bet works...

Money line doesn’t work like that. The bettor would have had to bet $30,000 grand on Duke to win $100.
