Colorado worries me slightly more than the other schools with openings so far. Wonder who their list of coaching candidates will be.
Colorado? They have an administration that doesn't care about sports, especially football, a small stadium (53,613) and they are in the Pac 12. Why do you think Mel Tucker ran out of Boulder so fast? My sports nut, Denver native, life-long CU fan, cousin has been calling for Dorrell's firing, along with that of AD Rick George. My cousin is also irritated that CU is the only team in the Pac 12 without a baseball team.

I would like to see Colorado hire Ed Orgeron.

Just the thought of Ed O. house-hunting in some of Boulder's finer neighborhoods would make it worthwhile.

I say more of a myth. Eddie Crowder had one 10 plus winning season. He coached against Devaney. Since then the following Colorado coaches had 10 plus wins in a season. Bill McCartney 3, Gary Barnett 1, Rick Neuheisel 2 and Mike MacIntyre 1. I think other than 1990 when the Buffs won the National Title they have been above average to pretty good 6 times and the rest they have been bad to good. Don’t think that makes them a beast. I think Colorado fans overplay the McCartney Era and when compared to Nebraska it just doesn’t.
